|Description||By defining ourselves as an “isthmus,” a space of crossings and connectivity, between histories, articulations, and media--we hope to make these frontiers a site of inquiry and revitalization. We want fiction, poetry, criticism, personal essays, translations that push against complacent taxonomies and finds itself forging new paths. We especially seek works that actively engage with global and local crises and the acts of resistance/pushback that have galvanized in response to them. Submit fiction of up to 5000 words total, up to 5 poems, no more than ten (10) pages, and nonfiction up to 3500 words total.|
|Genres||Poetry, Fiction, Non-Fiction|
