The fellowship/residency consists of exclusive use of a studio, accommodations, and three prepared meals a day for up to eight weeks. There are no residency fees (though there is a $30 processing fee). Applicants who are enrolled in undergraduate or graduate degree programs as of the date of application are ineligible for a residency and therefore cannot apply. Submit a writing sample in the same genre in which you are applying. Work-in-progress is strongly recommended. Writing samples must be in English. Fiction and nonfiction writers should submit 15 pages minimum, 25 pages maximum. Poets should submit 6-10 poems in ONE PDF document. Total sample should not exceed 15 pages. Only translators who are translating work into English are eligible to apply. Following the guidelines above, upload an excerpt of the work in its original language along with the English translation.|
