|Description||Theme issue: "Sea Change." To whom does the sea belong? How is the sea transformative? What sea changes have we witnessed or want to witness in our lifetimes? What are the stories that take place by the sea? How do the natural and supernatural play out in our lives? Rusted Radishes accepts submissions from anyone who has a relationship with Lebanon or the MENA region, whether you are from there, have traveled or worked there, or have some other tangible connection. Send up to five poems in one single document. We seek creative nonfiction that is art, not reportage or diary. You may submit no more than one long form and one short form essay (5000 words max.) We also seek high-quality literary fiction, and are happy to read stories with both traditional and experimental forms and subjects. We will consider flash fiction (350-1000 words), short stories (1000-5000 words), and unpublished novel excerpts. We also accept translations from any language to English and Arabic in any of the above genres.|
