|Description||Poetry application manuscripts should be 10-15 pages. Fiction application manuscripts should be 20-40 pages (examples: a novel excerpt, a longer story, or two or more short stories). Scholarship applicants may submit a combination of published and unpublished work in either , observing length limits of 20 pages. The Conference offers contributor positions (general admission) and merit-based scholarships. The Conference offers a limited number of scholarships on a competitive basis. Scholarships cover tuition ($1,100); scholars only pay room and board ($700). Fellowships are also offered, which cover all conference costs, but fellowship applicants should have a novel or short story collection or a full-length poetry collection published by an academic or commercial publisher. All participants are expected to attend the Conference for its entire 12-day duration.|
